Terry Loerch is many things: a CEO, a musician, an advocate, a father, and the kind of person who turns life’s chaos into creativity. With over 23 years of experience spanning public relations, marketing, nonprofit development, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), disability resources, startup growth, and neuroscience, Terry has built a career out of challenging norms and breaking barriers.
Terry is an expert in public relations and marketing, with a knack for building brands, crafting compelling narratives, and turning ideas into impactful campaigns. His deep knowledge of AI systems having worked with hundreds of them, has set him apart as a forward-thinking innovator. Frustrated by the limitations and inefficiencies of existing AI technologies, Terry began developing his systems to push boundaries and improve upon what’s out there. This drive led to the creation of groundbreaking platforms like Ask Disability and Equal Tech Innovations, designed to better serve the disabled community and beyond.
Terry’s professional journey began in the field of neuropsychology, where he worked on multimillion-dollar programs, blending his passion for science and his dedication to helping others. He was pursuing a PhD in neuropsychology when a spinal cord injury abruptly changed the course of his life. Despite the immense challenges, Terry turned this life-altering event into a catalyst for innovation and advocacy, ultimately leading him to the work he does today.
As the founder of United Disabilities, Ask Disability, and Equal Tech Innovations, Terry is dedicated to creating platforms that empower others, foster inclusivity, and inspire change. His work is driven by the belief that disabilities are not limitations but unique perspectives that can reshape the world when given the right opportunities.
Terry’s resilience mirrors his professional determination. After surviving 32 surgeries, domestic violence, and more than a few battles with the court system, he has emerged as a leader who combines determination with a sharp sense of humor. Despite these hurdles, he has devoted himself to advocacy, innovation, and family, all while raising his son and caring for his father with Lewy Body dementia.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Terry is passionate about making a difference. Whether building groundbreaking AI systems to assist the disabled community, producing music through Highway to Waves Production, or writing about life’s quirks, Terry’s mission is clear: to leave the world a little better (and maybe a lot more fun) than he found it.
When he’s not busy changing the world, Terry can be found crafting blogs with a dash of sarcasm, turning life experiences into songs, or figuring out why his cat insists on being the boss. He believes in the power of people, the importance of setting boundaries, and the idea that success isn’t measured by spreadsheets but by the lives you touch.
